View of bed Z1 - Fortune's elm 'Tustin'

Planting of 6 bird cherry trees and linear planting of shrubbery – ivy. The main attraction of the cherry trees is their beautiful spring blossom. The full, rich inflorescences create a charming scenery. In the summer months, the green crowns of these cherry trees offer pedestrians a welcome shade in the afternoon. The ‚Tustin‘ cultivar is a neat, semi-evergreen shrub that impresses at first glance with its natural habit of small, oval leaves on twigs. Its dark green, glossy leaves with distinctive veining do not lose their attractiveness even as the colder days of autumn or winter arrive and beautify the area even when covered with frost or a fine dusting of snow. The cultivar grows to a height of 30 cm.

The green belt of trees and shrubs acts as a natural filter, trapping some of the dust and thus protecting the adjacent development from the most dusty activities associated with cultivating the adjacent farmland, helping to retain water in the landscape and improving the microclimate of the previously open space. This has a positive effect on the living conditions in the surrounding area, both in terms of air quality and comfort for residents.
