SECTION 11
Between the Syslovák pond and Pražská Street

View of bed Z51 - Nutcracker 'Thetis'

The planting is a continuation of the project for the construction of a pedestrian connection between the Syslovák pond and Pražská Street. We are pleased to be able to contribute to the transformation of this newly constructed site through the planting of appropriately selected greenery. The uniform composition of white, purple and pink flowering shrubs here is harmoniously complemented by seven bird cherry trees at the beginning of the section. Their crowns not only improve the microclimate of the previously open and unprotected space, but also act as a natural sound and dust barrier to the surrounding buildings, thus bringing a better living environment for the local inhabitants. This section is one of the busiest traffic points in the built-up area. It is therefore of particular importance and requires our full attention and care. Properly selected tree species with their green foliage effectively prevent the spread of noise, dust and toxic substances from traffic, thus bringing a better living environment for local residents.

Within section 11, we have also integrated Prostřední Street, which connects to the recently revitalised mini park with a wind chime. This area now hosts a newly created flower bed full of flowering cultivars of lilacs, pustoriles and hydrangeas.
