SECTION 13
Free area near the Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross

The open area near the Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross is supplemented by three summer oaks. This sturdy native species will one day take over the role of ‚skeleton trees‘, giants that we cannot do without either in the estate or in the landscape. It does not reach mature age for 100 years, but at that price it is extremely long-lived, and can survive for up to 2000 years. Its robust canopy represents a key element in improving the quality of the environment. We should have the courage to plant these trees as their contribution is essential.
