Parallel Street around our community centre

The section of Průběná Street that runs past our community centre. Here, too, we have carefully preserved the composition of selected shrubs that has accompanied us from the border of neighbouring Klecany. Finally, the time has come when the terrain, space and utilities make it possible to include a tree canopy in our planting.

At this point, we opt for five bird cherry trees, and for good reason. Its flood of spring non-blooming flowers is something to admire. Every year, this gorgeous blooming scenery brings joy and beauty to our living space. The bird cherry is a real treat for the eye, and we are sure that this selection is a boon to all who pass through the area.

Our aim is not only to emphasise the aesthetic aspect, but also to create a pleasant and calming place for all who visit and perhaps sit for a moment on a bench in the shade of the rich green treetops. We must not forget the trees‘ ability to trap dust and absorb noise. This ability of trees is invaluable, especially near a busy street, which Průběžná Street is.

COMMUNITY CENTRE

It’s like the atmosphere of an orchard has taken over – that’s the impression you get from the Community Centre’s new garden planted with apple, cherry, pin and fruit bushes. This is the feeling that the new look of this garden brings. And the centre certainly deserves this transformation.

The Community Centre, along with the library, has undergone a thorough renovation that has not only resulted in beautifully landscaped and expanded interiors, but also a new façade. Now it’s time to enjoy the exterior improvements together. The colour palette is brightened up with hydrangeas, lilacs and viburnums interspersed with blackberries and raspberries. Every tree, shrub or plant we plant will repay our care and effort with its beauty and contribution.

In this way, the community centre becomes not only a meeting place and cultural venue, but also an oasis of greenery and beauty.
